Event Synopsis

English

Zhao Chuan is singer, songwriter and producer who received the Best Male Singer award at the 1991 Taiwan Golden Melody Awards. Zhao Chuan has been in the music scene for 18 years and released a total of 14 albums.

His breakthrough came with the song "I Am Ugly But Tender" (我很醜，可是我很溫柔) which was a giant hit in Chinese music industry in 1988. "I Am Ugly but Tender" was the song that made Zhao Chuan famous, shooting this underground singer into the mainstream. His next major hit was "I'm just a little bird" (我是一隻小小鳥). "I Am a Little Bird" took the country by storm in 1991, claiming the title for Best Album of the Year and the Best Song of the Year. It also won Zhao Chuan Best Male Singer of the year award.

"I Am Ugly but Tender"(我很醜，可是我很溫柔), "How Should I Express My Love to You"(愛要怎麼說出口), "I Am a Little Bird"(我是一隻小小鳥), "Be Brave"(勇敢一點), "The Fool Who Once Loved You"(那個傻瓜愛過你).All of Zhao Chuan's songs are filled with masculine strength and emotion.
