Theatre KuAsh @ Pusat Kreatif Kanak-kanak Tuanku Bainun (PKKTB)
Synopsis
SIFU Production is thrilled to present it’s first full-length play - FIFTEEN, as part of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture’s Program Transformasi Ekonomi, supported by the National Department for Culture and Arts (JKKN).

“This is a play about life of the young, the restless, and the mad in our city, KL ”

A slightly surreal play collective that is both unique and indigenous to that great and strange city we call home, FIFTEEN is a satire dealing with the socio-economic conditions of Kuala Lumpur delivered through the viewpoint of various young adult characters as they struggle with the banal reality of the rat race in the year twenty fifteen.

Written by Malaysian playwright Amir Imran, FIFTEEN is his debut theatre piece based on his keen observations of daily life of the average person in the city of KL. It's Malaysian contemporary literature, by Malaysians, for Malaysians.

Featuring Dinesh Kumar, Erwin Shah Ismail, Fara Faidzan, Ismail Jamaludin, Ivan Chan, Jeremy Ooi, Safia Hanifah and Tika Mu’tamir, accompanied by Clarence Chua on sound; this absurd tale of survival written by Malaysian playwright Amir Imran, challenges us to reevaluate society and our place within it.
